How to Cancel Form A
Step-by-step: view and act on an active brokerage contract through Dubai REST.
Who this is for: Owners with an active brokerage (agency) contract they want to cancel or manage.
Step by step
- 1
Download Dubai REST
Dubai REST is the official Dubai Land Department app. Cancelling or managing a Form A brokerage contract is done in this official DLD/RERA system — not by The Valley Digital.
- 2
Log in as an individual
Sign in using UAE Pass / Emirates ID or Title Deed, depending on the login method available to you.
- 3
Go to the Dashboard
After a successful login you land on your Dashboard, where your linked properties are shown.
- 4
Select the relevant property
Choose the property whose brokerage contract you want to act on.
- 5
Open Apply Services
On the property screen, open Apply Services by tapping the red three-dot menu.
- 6
Select Brokerage Contracts
Choose Brokerage Contracts from the services list.
- 7
Select the contract and take action
Select the relevant contract to view it and take the required action on the active contract.
- 8
Note — screens and labels can change
Dubai may update app screens and menu names; follow the current Dubai REST interface and use the closest matching option if wording differs.
Checklist
- Before cancelling — check the expiry date of the current term; many contracts simply lapse
- Before cancelling — confirm whether the contract is exclusive or non-exclusive
- Before cancelling — read the notice terms, required notice period and notice method
- Before cancelling — settle any outstanding marketing spend or other obligations under the contract
- Before cancelling — consider any commission position on buyers already introduced
- Before cancelling — decide whether you intend to sign a replacement contract, and with whom
What TVD can help with
- Explaining the questions to ask before you act
- Taking your property forward through our own manually reviewed seller journey once you are free to proceed
What must be completed elsewhere
- Interpreting the terms of your specific contract
- Any cancellation recorded in an official regulator or land department system
- Any dispute over commission or marketing costs
This is general information, not legal advice, and it cannot account for the wording of your specific contract. Where money or an exclusivity dispute is involved, take professional advice. The contract action itself is completed in Dubai REST — the official DLD/RERA system — not by The Valley Digital.
